Terms of service

Marvel STYLee Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") sets forth the following Terms of Service for the use of "LEJA," which is operated by the Company.

Article 1 (Definitions)

In these Terms of Service, the following terms shall have the meanings specified below:

  • "LEJA" refers to the system that provides product or service information and enables online provision of products or services, operated by the Company in accordance with these Terms on the internet.
  • "User" refers to anyone who accesses LEJA.
  • "Service" refers to the services provided by the Company to users of LEJA under these Terms. The content and types of services may be changed, increased, or decreased by the Company at its discretion, and notifications of such changes will be made via display on LEJA, email, or other communication methods.

Article 2 (Scope and Changes to the Terms)

  1. These Terms apply to both the Company and the User in relation to the use of the Service, and the User shall comply with these Terms when using LEJA.
  2. Any specific provisions or additional regulations that the Company may separately display on LEJA or notify the User of shall constitute part of these Terms. In case of any discrepancy between the general Terms and specific or additional provisions, the latter shall take precedence.
  3. The Company may change these Terms at its discretion without the User's consent. In this case, the terms and conditions for the use of the services provided by LEJA will be based on the revised Terms. The change will take effect when it is notified to the User by email to the address previously provided, a general notice on LEJA, or any other method the Company deems appropriate.
  4. The Company shall not be responsible for any disadvantages or damages caused to the User due to changes in the Terms.

Article 3 (User Status and Restrictions)

  1. User Status
    When a User accesses LEJA and receives any service (including viewing information), the User is deemed to have agreed to these Terms and thus obtains the status of a User of LEJA.
  2. Restrictions on Users
    The User shall not engage in any of the following actions:
    (1) Using LEJA in any way other than the method specified by LEJA.
    (2) Impersonating others to use the Service.
    (3) Linking data related to the Service to other data or websites in a way not authorized by LEJA.
    (4) Unauthorized access to data stored on LEJA's servers or taking actions that could destroy or alter the data.
    (5) Disrupting the operation of the Service.
    (6) Using the Service for commercial purposes, including preparing for profit-making activities, unless approved by the Company.
    (7) Collecting or attempting to collect personal information of other users.
    (8) Engaging in any actions that are contrary to public morals or violate any laws, domestic or international.

Article 4 (Suspension and Interruption of the Service)

  1. The Company may, at its sole discretion, temporarily suspend or discontinue part or all of the Service without prior notice to the User in the following cases:
    (1) Routine or emergency maintenance or updates to the system and equipment for the Service.
    (2) Inability to provide the Service due to unforeseeable events such as fire, power outages, or natural disasters.
    (3) When the primary telecommunications service provider fails to provide necessary services.
    (4) Other cases where the Company deems suspension or interruption of the Service necessary due to operational or technical reasons, or where unforeseen circumstances make it difficult to provide the Service.
  2. The Company shall not be held responsible for any disadvantages or damages caused to the User or third parties due to the suspension or interruption of the Service.

Article 5 (Links)

The Company is not responsible for any websites or content linked to LEJA, including advertisements, products, and services on those third-party sites. The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from or related to those external links and their content.

Article 6 (Copyright)

  1. Users shall not, without the permission of the copyright holder, reproduce, sell, publish, or otherwise use any information provided through LEJA beyond personal use as defined by copyright law.
  2. Users shall not allow third parties to use or disclose any information provided through LEJA without permission from the copyright holder.
  3. If any issues arise due to violations of this article, the User shall resolve the matter at their own responsibility and expense and shall not cause any inconvenience or damage to the Company.

Article 7 (Liability for Damages)

  1. The Company shall not be liable for any damages caused by the provision, delay, modification, interruption, discontinuation, or cessation of the Service, the loss or leakage of information, or any other issues related to the Service, except for those related to the handling of personal information as specified in the "Privacy Policy."
  2. If a User causes damage to a third party through their use of the Service, the User shall resolve the issue at their own responsibility and expense and shall not cause any damage to the Company. If the User's actions violate these Terms or engage in illegal or fraudulent conduct that causes damage to the Company, the Company may claim appropriate compensation for damages.

Article 8 (Privacy Policy)

The management and handling of user information acquired in connection with the use of the Service by the Company shall be governed by the Company's separately established Privacy Policy.

Article 9 (Governing Law)

These Terms, their formation, validity, enforcement, and interpretation shall be governed by the laws of Japan.

Article 10 (Exclusive Jurisdiction)

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms, the district court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company’s principal office shall be the exclusive court for the first instance.
